Background
Prior to joining AidData full time, Emma worked as a student Research Assistant and later a student Senior Research Assistant for AidData's Tracking Underreported Financial Flows (TUFF) team. She earned her Certificate in Chinese and American Studies from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center in Spring 2024, and graduated summa cum laude from William & Mary in January 2023. While at William & Mary, Emma was a member of the Bike Alliance and received the Finn Prize for Excellence in Chinese.
