Workshop: Pioneering Development Research Using Geospatial Data
October 19, 2017
Policymakers and development practitioners use data every day to make decisions about how to allocate development assistance. The growing availability of geospatial information about aid investments has the potential to improve how these decisions are made. Pioneering research, funded by AidData, is utilizing this type of data to understand when and where aid programs are effective and to develop new methods and tools for using this data.
Join us October 19th and 20th for a 2-day workshop to share findings from this cutting-edge research and explore the ability of this work to transform the way governments, donors, and development practitioners make decisions.
