‍Dr. Ammar A. Malik—senior research scientist at AidData and the head of AidData's Chinese Development Finance program—shared findings at an event with the Islamabad Policy Research Institute from a new report and global dataset by AidData of more than 13,000 Chinese development finance projects. The report, Banking on the Belt and Road: Insights from a new global dataset of 13,427 Chinese development projects, is a primer for interpreting China's growing development finance program from a data-driven lens.
