The GitHub repository for AidData's Geospatial Global Chinese Development Finance Dataset (GeoGCDF) provides geospatial features defining the location of Chinese financed projects, and expands the type of analysis which can be conducted using the tabular, project level data from AidData's Global Chinese Development Finance Dataset (GCDF), Version 3.0.

AidData's Geospatial Global Chinese Development Finance Dataset, Version 3.0 provides geospatial features representing the locations of project activities for 13,908 projects from the 3.0 version of AidData’s Global Chinese Development Finance (GCDF) dataset. Geospatial features included in the 3.0 version of AidData's Geospatial Global Chinese Development Finance Dataset cover 148 countries and represent activities worth over $830 billion (in constant 2021 USD). The features are based on data from OpenStreetMap and include 8,797 spatial definitions of buildings, roads, and other precise features, as well as 5,111 locations of approximate or administrative level locations.
