Mike Tierney is the George and Mary Hylton Professor of Government and International Relations at the College of William & Mary, and co-directs the Institute for the Theory and Practice of International Relations. His interests include international organizations, international relations theory, political economy of development and institutions, and foreign aid.
Elizabeth Carlson is an Assistant Professor in the department of Political Science and the Program on African Studies at Pennsylvania State University. She holds a PhD in Political Science from UCLA (2011) and previously held fellowships at Stanford’s CDDRL and the Program on Democracy at Yale’s MacMillan Center. She specializes in political behavior, experimental methods, and the political economy of development in Africa.
