Mike Tierney is the George and Mary Hylton Professor of Government and International Relations at the College of William & Mary, and co-directs the Institute for the Theory and Practice of International Relations. His interests include international organizations, international relations theory, political economy of development and institutions, and foreign aid.
In addition to being the Julius Silver Professor of Politics at the Alexander Hamilton Center for Political Economy at NYU, Bruce Bueno de Mesquita is also a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. Two of his books include The Dictator’s Handbook: Why Bad Behavior is Almost Always Good Politics and The Predictoneer’s Game: Using the Logic of Brazen Self-Interest to See and Shape the Future. Bruce is also a partner in Mesquita & Roundell, LLC, a consulting firm that uses game theory models he developed to assist corporations and the U.S. intelligence and policymaking community in complex negotiations involving mergers and acquisitions, litigation, regulation, and national security matters.
