Citing AidData

Much of the data in the AidData database is republished with permission from the OECD’s Creditor Reporting System. These data are identified in AidData as coming from the OECD/CRS. The ownership notice for these data is:

CRS data are owned by the OECD and subject to specific restrictions as outlined in the Terms and Conditions for use of OECD published content.

Rights

The non-modified CRS Dataset in its entirety may not be republished or sold in printed or electronic form. This restriction of rights applies to all type of electronic products, including but not restricted to magnetic tape editions, micro-edition, CD-ROM and CD-I editions, and all types of editorial products recorded on Digital Compact Disk.

Warranty and Liability

The CRS Dataset, and the data it contains, is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty against infringement of third parties property rights, of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.  
 
Neither the OECD nor AidData shall provide technical support, maintenance, warranties or remedies for the CRS Dataset, or the data it contains, unless expressly agreed with the user.
 
The entire risk as to the use, quality and performance of the CRS Dataset, or the data it contains, is with the user. In no event, will the OECD or AidData be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential losses or damages, including, but not limited to, where caused by inaccuracies or errors in the CRS Dataset, or the data it contains, loss of data, loss of profits, or any other financial loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, even if the OECD or AidData was notified of the possibility of such damages.
