Services

AidData provides software and data solutions that make aid and development finance information more transparent, timely and accessible. 

In the wake of the global shift towards transparent aid information, the web and other media have become flooded with data. Yet development finance information is often complex, difficult to view and organize, and reported through a myriad of channels. In order to make aid information easy to analyze, AidData offers custom solutions in addition to its public website. 

These services are typically for government and donor organizations interested in custom data solutions, information technology tools, and capacity building related to data management and transparency. Some of our current work includes developing data feeds and creating thematic dashboards and analytical tools for donors, countries, or sectors of interest. AidData collects, standardizes, and integrates data and designs platforms through which users can access, update, and report on these data. AidData can also help link data to geographic coordinates using the UCDP/AidData geocoding methodology, and build interactive maps that display these data in different ways. Other services include marketing and communications services around product launches and training programs, data management support and workshops on aid transparency and similar topics.

As a partnership between two universities and a non-profit organization, AidData has a deep commitment to both quality and service delivery.
